Hi! I'm Tess.

Painting has always been a source of joy and delight for me -
a response to the abundance of color and life I see in God's creation.

In third grade, I won a ribbon in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Art Competition. It wasn't an impressive ribbon, but from that moment, I declared painting to be "my thing" and have been cultivating that love ever since. My work is bold, colorful, and features playful, vibrant brush strokes. Growing up in a household that always had at least one goofy dachshund led to a love of painting animals; bringing their personalities to life on canvas is just downright fun. My paintings are a kaleidoscopic interpretation of the humor, personality, and love I see in (and often surrounding) my subjects. ♥

Born and raised in Texas, I hold a Bachelor's of Environmental Design with a focus
on Visual Studies and a minor in Dance. I also received my Master's of Education with a heavy focus on the arts - all from Texas A&M University. Along the way, I've dabbled in graphic design and wall murals. I currently live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with
my husband and four delightful children. When I'm not wrangling kids, painting,
or dabbling in the garden, I'm also involved in local community and church groups.

Braids, Bangs, and a Bull.
