Time to Find a New Clock!
I'm a big fan of CSN Stores. It seems like no matter what you want or need, they have a store for it: everything from wall sconces and barstools to wool rugs and clocks! In January I did a product review of the Areaware Brush Vase, and I'm excited to say that I'll be partnering with CSN Stores again... but this time, I'm in the market for a new clock!
On to the clocks! This is our living room picture wall...
See that clock? Yeah. It's broken. No clue how, but the glass front is chipped and won't fit within it's nook- it keeps sliding down. I guess that's what we get for having a cheapie clock though... so we'll be looking for something high quality this time around! I know I want something classic, but with a fun, mid-century feel (surprise, surprise!). Here's what I'm looking at...
My favorite by far is the George Nelson Block Clock. It's actually the clock in the main character's kitchen in the Showtime series Dexter. I loved it when I first saw it there & didn't even know it was George Nelson (but I wasn't surprised)!
So my dear readers, what are your thoughts?? Do I have the winner with the block clock? Or would you prefer to get your time from one of those other faces? I'd love to hear which you would pick for my living room!

I love all of them! And the poster over your couch. Wow I love that!
Block clock! It's awesome! And I LOVE your living room!
I think the block is the winner because the blue will highlight the blues in your other pieces at the same time as not stealing the show.
I like number six best, and number four second best. They are all cute, though!!!
I like #2 the best - something about the green. I honestly, don't like the blue block one at all.
Can I just move in? Your living room looks fun and comfy!
Found you via the Etsy forums and will be following!
Hello!
I found your blog through Apartment Therapy and have spent the last half hour or so here. I was excited to find a blog written by a fellow Christian. :)
God bless!

Oh, and I'm loving your yellow chevron wall!

Definitely the block clock! I've been coveting that thing for years!
My favorite is #6. I love the colored hands and the running man...running out of time? I could live with that for a long time.
Saw you on Etsy. Great blog!
i like #2! i have a giveaway for a gift certificate for csn right now, you should check it out! it ends tomorrow night: http://yourstrulydear.blogspot.com/2010/06/giveaway.html

I vote #2 the green one. The others seem too busy to be put up on an already-busy wall. Plus it matches some of the other green elements in the room like the blanket, stained glass and painting on the top right.
These might be too modern, but might I suggest some clocks from CB2:

Thanks for your votes everyone!! Haven't decided just yet, but I'm leaning towards the blue block still. I really like #2... but Jesse is *so* not sold on that one! I love that color green, but he isn't nearly as crazy about it- even when I pointed out how many other places in the living room have it!
I love #2, it is classic with modern touch :)
And I love your house and all sort of funky things you've done to it!

1 or 3 I think - they're both awesome. Think #1 will pop off your wall more, which I think is good.
I love #6 but it would be hard for me to resist the dexter clock. I guess it just looks like there's a lot going on with that wall already, and I don't know if the clock with so much personality would be too much for me. It depends on your preference, though!
You have a beautiful living room. I trust your taste. And I love George Nelson's clock designs. It will surely lights up your living room.
