Spring Is...
My mom is amazing.
For Easter, she had my dad track down an old out-of-print book we used to check out from the library all the time as kids. Each of us got a copy, and I think it's safe to say, it's one of the loveliest children's books I've ever read (and you'll see why). It's called "Spring Is..." with darling illustrations by Janina Domanska. Here are a few of my fav pages...

Not only is that book perfect for you with the little pup, but the styling of the illustrations is fantastic! The colors are perfect and the design has that perfectly retro feel. Very neat!
