Flickr Flowers!
I'm so in love with the weather right now- it's been unseasonably warm here in Pittsburgh. Apparently this is 'summer weather' -which makes me even more excited that I might actually like summer! Spring is here & for once in my life I have flowers... that I grew... in a garden.
Here they are (just a few, I know, but my first tulip- yay!) along with the Pepper dog and our new little fence. And I use the term 'fence' loosely since it's 14" high- but it's enough to keep the pups in. To celebrate spring I thought I'd share some more lovely flowers via some flickr searching....
...and a quick tribute to Texas (and one of the things I do miss):

(These are my lovely sisters Nell & Kitt taking the traditional Texas bluebonnet photos. Sidenote: Nell just finished running a 10K and was the first woman to finish! Woohoo!)

Great pics . . . it's been unusually hot here in VA (96F today) which is odd given that we had 5ft of snow not so long ago. Sunshine really does life the spirits.
Stunning picture of the flowers, will definitely make my day. Keep posting.
