Church Doors
While running errands today (and with all the door talk), I couldn't help but notice how lovely all the old church doors around here are! Perhaps it has something to do with the welcoming atmosphere churches should provide... but either way, churches really do tend to have stunning entryways!
Isn't this one stunning? It's my favorite.

I love doors! These are truly beautiful. On my first trip to Europe I took pictures of doors all over the place. I plan on doing paintings of my door collection sometime. Did a blog post about it once. Here...

I love Church Doors! Years ago I did a whole series of them! Wish they were as wonderful as these!!
Love your blog. Am following. I see what you mean about the red. The teal I don't think would work either with the brick. I'd go for an off white or even a green to bring in the green folliage around the yard and on the upper part of the house. Good luck.
