New Books!


What a treat was waiting for me on my front porch today! 2 boxes full of old books from my parents' library!! My dad has slowly been converting his library to digital e-books & after giving Nell some picks, shipped some off to me! :P This comes at a perfect time since I literally just finished the last of the Sherlock Holmes stories.... Just look at that old vintage cover art! Love it!! :D

Nice! I'm kind of torn on the whole ebook vs. real book thing. I honestly think I prefer reading on a screen (if it's a convenient screen like a netbook or ebook reader) and it's generally cheaper/easier to get ebooks (esp. now with Kindle for PC out!), but actual books have so much character and add a touch of class and interest to a room, especially vintage ones like those.
