The Bedroom is Next!
Next on my list of rooms to tackle is the bedroom (which narrowly beat out the basement). The room is currently a yellow that's very nice- but it just doesn't go with our furniture & colors in there. I was originally going to go with a black & white, but now I'm thinking a pearly, silvery grey would be very elegant as well... Once I decide though, I can get going on that!
For now, this one little vignette is looking nice with the yellow- I think it picks up nicely with my dad's old Sherlock Holmes books...

Miss Tess I enjoy these blogs of yours..I am inspired now. I like the yellow...what if you did both....like an accent wall of the yellow or the gray....I have not figured out your style yet....I'm thinking is simplistic,traditionalistic, comtemporary with a touch of ecclectic. What do you say?
Vicky--This photo does not capture the true hue of the yellow. Here it almost looks like ecru..the real color is not as pretty as this picture suggests. I also vote for a pearly grey or silver...are you changing the floor in there?
Pittsburgh is great Brenna! We really like it here so far (although we'll see what I say when winter rolls around!) & thanks for the compliments you're too sweet!
The yellow looks much better in the sunny library- where it is staying (and getting a mural added on). I definitely want to keep the monochromatic look in the bedroom... I'm thinking a pearly grey is going to win out. Floor isn't getting changed for now.
